The Community Program Manager - US, plays a critical role in accelerating our vertical future and increasing sustainable brand awareness across the USA. This position will support our US Community Marketing Managers in creating an integrated community marketing strategy specific to each region and aligned to the global brand position and community strategy.
The role will be responsible for brand initiatives that strengthen the brand position in each US market and increase guest affinity to Arc’teryx.
This role directly supports our growing retail teams and works with cross functional leaders in Brand, Digital, Retail, Public Relations, Commercial and Customer Service teams to deliver an integrated, omni-channel consumer experience.
This person is obsessed with the Coast Mountain culture and creating experiences that further express our love of climb, snow and trail.
This role can be hired remote. Business operations typically occur in pacific timezone.

The Community and Experiences Team leads a strategy and process that supports our regions in creating long-term commitments to the community via local partners, ambassadors, athletes, and organizations that surround our stores and places of practice. The team also supports key drivers to increase brand affinity, loyalty, retail sales, traffic, and revenue.\n
If you were the Community Program Manager - US now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Supporting a team of US Community Marketing Managers who are responsible for coaching and developing integrated community marketing plans aligned to the Commercial objectives and Brand and Community goals
- Supporting the Director, Brand Community in campaign, product and community initiative performance reporting. Assisting in the creation of an omni-channel reporting process and analysis of data dashboards - both retail, B2B and CRM data
- Managing the Cultural Moments plan relevant to the US and supporting global initiatives in the strategy creation
- Managing national level competition and sponsorship agreements in the US and project managing the execution with cross-functional teams
- Partnering with the Training team and Regional Managers to provide community marketing expertise and ensures consistent execution of marketing programs in market (US) via training and tools
- Creating tactical plans and briefing documents to amplify and localize brand message in the US through offline tactics and digital advertising initiatives that also promote retail locations, Arc’teryx Academy experiences, drive traffic, and build customer relationships
- Partnering with the brand content team, global community team and media stakeholders to drive community engagement that results in “earned media”
- Managing strategic paid media investment plan to support market awareness and US brand
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Partnering with the Director, Brand Community, Community Program Manager (Canada), Retail Project Manager and internal stakeholders to execute annual community initiatives– collaborate with the commercial team to share the beta and provide market knowledge to drive localization and leverage community partnerships
- Managing the delivery and request of localized brand content and messages (initiated in the US) local and global social media channels
- Managing the US ambassador program and associated program delivery
Are you our next Community Program Manager - US?
- You have a BS/BA in Business, Marketing or 8+ year’s prior experience in related field
- You are able to work well in a team setting and with various levels within the organization
- You understand a budget, strong overall analytical capabilities
- You are extremely organized and have experience managing multiple, time sensitive projects
- You are able to work Ability to work cross-functionally
- You have experience working with retailers, preferably in the outdoor industry
- You have Strong computer skills – excel, outlook, word, PowerPoint
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- You are self-motivated, committed, tenacious and goal-oriented
- You are energetic and passionate about the brand
- You have a positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
