We are seeking a talented and experienced Channel Marketing Manager to lead our omnichannel digital marketing efforts. This role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, maximizing sales, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across digital channels through our retail partners.

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Global Ecommerce & Commercial Strategy and allows you the flexibility to work from your home office or is based out of our Petaluma, CA office.   

As the Channel Marketing Manager - Digital & Omnichannel, you will have an opportunity to: 
  • Collaborate, develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with overall brand objectives, driving traffic, engagement, and conversion across all digital touchpoints.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our retail partners to ensure alignment and consistency of digital marketing strategies, campaigns, and messaging across all channels.
  • Support our performance marketing team and agency partner to administer and optimize performance marketing campaigns, including organizing ad creative, providing input for targeting and budget allocation, and analyzing campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist in briefing our internal creative design team, ensuring the timely delivery of engaging and on-brand assets for various digital channels.
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive and engaging A+ content strategy for our brand's products on marketplace platforms and retailer websites.
  • Establish a budget & guidelines that qualifies and assesses viability of Marketing Development Fund (MDF) campaigns & weighs success against a benchmark or advertising spend.  Manage and measure customer MDF campaigns against these objectives.
  • Coordinate product seeding initiatives to generate authentic user-generated content and drive brand advocacy.
  • Manage the solicitation of product reviews from customers and industry influencers, leveraging these reviews across our digital sales channels to increase customer trust and drive conversions.
  • Develop and execute cooperative marketing campaigns with retail partners, manage the retailer marketing budget and track ROI.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives, providing regular updates and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess and improve the user experience across digital channels, optimizing conversion funnels, reducing friction points, and ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization within our digital marketing efforts.
You have: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the outdoor industry or a similar consumer goods environment.
  • Strong knowledge of performance marketing channels and tools, including SEM, SEO, paid social media, and display advertising.
  • Experience with managing cooperative marketing campaigns and working with retail partners.
  • Proven track record of managing successful omnichannel digital marketing campaigns, achieving measurable results in terms of traffic, engagement, and conversion.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media analytics) to derive actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Passion for the outdoor industry and an understanding of its unique customer base, diverse retailers, and marketing landscape.
