Requirements:
Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.
Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
This position requires up to 25% travel.
Office hours are from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
Incumbent will have financial disclosure reporting responsibility in accordance with Section 112.3145, Florida Statutes.
Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) Certifications must be obtained within 12 months of employment.

Work at FWC is cross-functional meaning duties may cross division/office lines. The Commission expects employees to function across FWC’s organizational structure by providing their skills and expertise wherever needed through work on teams or as directed.
Responsible for following the provisions and requirements in Section 215.422, Florida Statutes, related to the Department of Financial Services rules and FWC’s invoice processing and warrant distribution procedures.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, purchasing or related field, with two (2) of the years containing supervisory experience. The incumbent should possess a high degree of judgement, business management acumen and team building experience. The incumbent will supervise 2 full-time employees.
Or
4-year degree in Business Management, Accounting or related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred.
Overview:
This position provides significant Finance and Budget administrative direction to regional program staff. It requires a high degree of judgement, integrity, business management, and team building skills.
