This position will lead Kenda’s Bicycle sales and marketing team in North America. In this role, the Brand Director will drive brand portfolio management (renovation and innovation), consumer communications (strategy, planning, development, and execution), and new product launches. This position will oversee all aspects of the Kenda bicycle brand in North America, which will have strong influence over Kenda’s global bicycle business.

Responsibilities
- Acts as general manager for brand P&L (Revenue + Marketing Costs), understanding opportunities and risks in line items from topline and bottom line. Requires developing an understanding of cross-functional costs
- Develop strategic marketing plans and marketing mix that drive sustainable and profitable growth based on consumer insights and marketplace dynamics
- Own long-range planning and development with input from sales and engineering teams
- Responsible for the development, maintenance, and accuracy of the marketing budget and tracking of expenditures
- Manage bicycle marketing team (3 people)
- Reports to the VP of Development
Qualification and Requirements (Education/Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
- Minimum 5-10 years of product or brand management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of managing direct reports
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Exceptional analytics capability and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrated success in building solid working partnerships across functional groups and in managing teams on key projects against established deadlines
- Strong Microsoft proficiency
