Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position is responsible for supporting all day-to-day activities of the financial accounting department, including accurate and timely financial statement and report preparation, coordination of cash management and forecasting, and preparation for company audits. May provide backup to Financial Operations and support Plant Controller in cost accounting functions.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Daily Cash management and reporting, including daily/weekly cash positions, forecasting and projections.
- Prepare weekly cash projections to effectively enable the enhancement of cash flows and minimize cash balances and improve working capital.
- Assist Financial Controller with preparation of Monthly Financial Statements (3 statement models) Including Analytical Reviews.
- Review and record journal entries required to reflect monthly activity.
- Manage and support month-end close processes to ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Preparation of workpapers supporting the monthly close process and month-end balances
- Ensure the timely completion and accuracy of monthly account reconciliations.
- Analytical review of the operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective
- Support the month-end business review process with value added information & analysis.
- Communicate and collaborate as needed to answer questions and inform business partners concerning financial performance and business issues.
- Work with and support Plant Controller during month end close process and related activity.
- Assist in successful management of the annual audit process with external auditors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Experience within multinational CPG and/or manufacturing organization
- A hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves approach and a strong sense of urgency
- Advanced Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Cost accounting experience a plus
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work cross functionally to accomplish tasks.
- Collaborative team player
- Able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Knowledge and experience in manufacturing and inventory management
COMPUTER SKILLSΒ
