Job Description

Are you ready to take the wheel and drive success? SIXT is looking for an Area Sales Manager in the Los Angeles area to be responsible for the acquisition of corporate customers. They will identify, analyze, and develop potential customers to increase SIXT's portfolio. They will manage the SIXT business portal by contacting and responding to all leads generated through it. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT 

  • Identify, convert and negotiate agreements with new local partners
  • Oversee the strategic planning of sales activities and regularly monitor and push revenue development & growth
  • Proactively and independently complete customer-centric activities that include but are not limited to lead generation, customer acquisition and follow-up calls, customer visits and any other events or meetings that strengthen the customer relationship
  • Cooperate, educate and inspire branch team members in the lead generation process and maintain good working relationships with branch managers from the sales region
  • Help oversee customer-specific solution implementations for your corporate clients
  • Alongside our partners carry out trainings, sales calls, workshops, and other marketing activities, including representing Sixt at industry events or trade fairs

YOUR SKILLS MATTER 

  • Experience You have 3+ years of work experience in B2B sales within the travel industry, mobility services sector, automotive industry, or related
  • Education You have a bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related fields and are authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Technical Proficiency You are experienced with computer systems including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other CRM's
  • Soft Skills You demonstrate strong organizational skills, can multi-task effectively, and excel in professional communication
  • Commitment to Excellence You have a demonstrated passion and skill for sales, and have a proven ability to recognize complex customer needs and match those with suitable offers
  • Travel You are flexible and willing to travel within the designated territory 
  • Availability You are committed to working full time to meet business needs
