Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

From accounting and financial planning to risk/fraud analysis and payments, our Finance team ensures not only our company’s financial security, but also that our customers can buy from us with confidence.

Our FP&A team sits at the center of the organization and is actively involved with all major strategic decisions. The individual will be an integral member of a team responsible for budgeting, forecasting and managing Priceline’s full P&L and serving as analytical and strategic business partner throughout the organization


 

In this role you will get to:

  • Build and maintain robust driver-based forecasting models in partnership with cross-functional business leaders

  • Build company and industry knowledge and develop a strong understanding of relevant financial metrics

  • Support the measurement of relevant key performance indicators and communicate findings to senior stakeholders

  • Perform insightful variance analysis versus budget, forecast and prior year

  • Work across the team to build reporting infrastructure and help develop new FP&A processes and analyses that add value for all stakeholders

  • Partner with relevant business teams to support strategic analyses and ad-hoc projects 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other quantitative discipline

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related highly-analytical professional experience; FP&A experience preferred.  Travel industry, investment banking, and/or management consulting experience is a plus

  • Advanced Excel modeling experience required

  • Ability and interest to quickly learn and utilize tools such as OneStream, Anaplan, Essbase and Tableau

  • Proven track record of critical thinking, performing comprehensive analysis, synthesizing data and presenting insights in a clear and concise way

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, coordinate the efforts of others and work well with people at a wide range of levels

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $85,000- $105,000.

Flexible work at Priceline

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
