Position Summary:
To maintain, repair and monitor features in all terrain parks. The Park Ranger will also provide friendly and helpful service to our guests and educate terrain park users on terrain park safety and etiquette. This is an hourly, seasonal position. This position will work in conjunction with our Snowmaking, Grooming and Mountain Operations Departments to provide our guests with the safest and most enjoyable terrain park experience possible.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- To maintain, repair and monitor features in all terrain parks.
- To interact with guests and fellow staff in friendly and helpful manner.
- To install and maintain all terrain park signage, fencing and all trail markings within and around all terrain parks.
- To continually maintain all terrain park features: including but not limited to; run in, take off, landing, run out areas, and all physical parts of the feature.
- To work safely at all times, keeping in mind the safety of the guests and fellow staff.
- To provide friendly and helpful service to all who enter the parks.
- To assist with special events as necessary or other departments.
- To assist with the Mountain Coaster when needed.
- To Pick up trash and debris within all parks.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to ride within all terrain parks.
- Familiar with terrain park operations, radio communications skills and customer service.
- Also, must be able to ride chair lifts; ski or snowboard; hike up/downhill on uneven, slippery terrain, while carrying the necessary tools.
- Assist with snowmaking and grooming, as necessary.
