Spend a summer leading canoe trips through the wilderness of northern Minnesota and Ontario as an Interpreter. Interpreters at Northern Tier are wilderness canoe guides that lead crews of scouts on extended back country canoe trips through Boy Scouts of America. The position requires completing a two week training which includes Wilderness First Aid training and a 5 day training canoe trip. Once training is complete interpreters begin to lead crews into the lakes and rivers of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Quetico Provincial Park.
