Summary & Additional Information Required Application Materials: Resume, Cover Letter, List of references Best Consideration Date: January 25, 2026 Posting Close Date: January 25, 2026 Open Until Filled: No POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT The Coordinator for Esports will develop and administer a comprehensive communications, marketing, and outreach plan, ensuring a favorable image and brand of the Esports program.
The incumbent will oversee, train, and lead part-time staff to deliver Esports content across all channels of communication. This position will support and collaborate on Esports event planning, staffing, and execution for in-person and digital channels, including departmental and divisional goals and objectives.
PREFERENCES Master’s degree. At least three (3) years of
experience:
working in collegiate or community recreation At least two (2) years working within the collegiate esports
Experience:
- leading a digital marketing team Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
At least two (2) years of supervisor
experience:
At least two (2) years creating or leading digital media content and/or initiatives
Experience:
with training digital media hardware, software, and brand practices.
Experience:
with collegiate or professional esports marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inclusive spaces through programming, mentorship, and training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs for weight and fitness related training and equipment adjustments, sport specialty equipment and event equipment setups and for on-site event management related purposes.
Ability to travel around campus for meetings and to attend to duties. Some weekends and evening work will be required. Occasional travel to national conferences and events. CERTIFICATIONS N/A CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Possess (or ability to obtain within the first three (3) months) and maintain current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
