Refrigeration Trailer Mechanic

Compensation: $33.00DEPARTMENT: Fleet MaintenanceJOB SUMMARY: Service and/or repair trailer mounted reefer units (TRUs – Transport Refrigeration Units). Included but not limited to maintaining, repairing and/or replacing TRU engines, compressors, belts, filters, fuel tanks and all items related to the unit.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnosis, repair and maintenance of multiple brands of TRUs (Transport Refrigeration Units) (Carrier / ThermoKing / etc.) Evacuating / charging freon Decision making and problem solving required Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs with minimal assistance Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business from within and outside the Company Must be able to work night shifts and weekends Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma preferred Must have a valid California Driver License with clear record At least four (4) years of experience in maintaining and repairing TRUs Must furnish basic hand tools and roll-away toolbox Must pass a physical and pre-employment drug test
