    Job Description

    For this U.S. based position, the expected base salary is $132,912 - $139,558 per year. Additional short-term incentive compensation is a typical part of our compensation structure and would be in addition to the above-stated range. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job- related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Test Campaign Leader Technical in Lake Forest, CA. Job Description: Develop and document comprehensive test plans and procedures based on project requirements and industry standards. Execute test plans, documenting results and identifying any discrepancies or issues, with detailed system level Verification and Validation activities for complex development projects that include both hardware, embedded software, and application software development. Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to be develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develop, modify, and execute software test plans. Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.

    Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field and progressive, post-bachelor’s experience (3 years with Master’s or 5 years with Bachelor’s) in system and unit level validation, verification, and testing, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Integrating and testing Functional Safety of Safety and Critical Control Systems (Electrical/Electronic/Programmable Electronic); Developing and documenting comprehensive Test plans and procedures based on project requirements and industry standards ISO 9001-2015, IEEE 1012, IEEE 829; Executing test plans, documenting results, and identifying discrepancies; System level Verification and Validation for hardware, embedded software, and application software development; Performing activities in Application Failure mode Effects Analysis (AFMEA) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA); Automating tests using Python and high level programming; Reporting and identifying defects using Doors, Jama and Azure DevOps (ADO); and Performing Jira Communication Protocol testing (SPI, I2C, UART, Modbus communication).
