In this role, you’ll provide expert patient care, health teaching, and counseling while delivering interventions that restore and support well-being. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians and licensed providers to carry out medical regimens and lead a dedicated care team of nurses and clinical support staff.

1. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing1; or 2. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and prior

experience:

working in a nursing home, psychiatric facility or other sub-acute facility1; or 3. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time medical-surgical

experience:

in an acute care setting.

2 NOTES: 1.:

Incumbents must serve a one (1) year full-time probationary period as a Nurse I in order to be eligible for promotion to a Nurse II. 2 Upon successful completion of orientation and the ability to function independently at a satisfactory level for three (3) months (full-time), the incumbent would be eligible to be promoted to a Nurse II.

This individual would then serve a one (1) year full-time probationary period as a Nurse II. 3. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable
