Job Description
Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (First Shift/Part Time) Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Amherst Center at College Parkway Time Type: Part time Weekly Hours: 20 FTE: 0.5 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Performs patient care, health teaching and health counseling in an oncology setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed independent provider; assists in the goal of individualizing the care of patients in an attempt to support the patients to adapt to the disease process and achieve the highest level of wellness; performs routine nursing care procedures; screens, performs venipuncture and monitors plateletpheresis and whole blood donor procedures; maintains donor and product safety ensuring compliance with State and Federal procedure regulations; enhances professional growth and development through participation in
education:
al programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops. Starting hourly rate is $27.05 which includes a comprehensive
