Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Pawhuska - Pawhuska, OK 74056 Position Type: Regular Full-Time Job Shift: Day The Realty Assistant is responsible for preparing, updating and maintaining all land documentation records and lease records. Assist with Real Estate Functions involved in acquisition, management and disposal; rights-of-way; Fee-To-Trust Applications; leasing restricted and fee lands, for farming, grazing, hunting, business, and other purposes.
The Realty Assistant ensures all information compliance with all local, state, tribal and federal agencies and regulations. Prepares and compiles required reports and maintains land base statistics.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree required in Business or any other Degree relating to property management or real estate required
Education requirement may be satisfied with a minimum of two (2) years of closely related experience with federal, state, tribal or other realty program, organization or administration:
Experience with real estate sales, promotion, management, leasing, appraisal, surveying, or BIA realty programs required:
Working knowledge of commonly applied real estate principals, rules, regulations, and practices and land descriptions preferred Working knowledge of land title and records preferred Candidate must be able to read and understand Federal regulations and procedural manuals Candidate must be able to obtain Bureau of Indian Affairs security clearance.
Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs Candidate must possess excellent verbal communication skills, demonstrated technical writing abilities and research skills. Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
Candidate must possess the ability to work with a diverse group of personnel The candidate must be willing to adapt to changing demands on a daily basis and must possess ability to function openly, constructively, and effectively in team-oriented assignments.
