Do you love meeting new people, spending time in the fresh mountain air, and sharing your passion for the outdoors? Mount Southington is looking for warm, friendly team members to help make every guest’s visit unforgettable! As a Mountain Ambassador, you’ll be one of the first smiles our guests see in the morning. Your enthusiasm for the mountain will help create a welcoming, joyful atmosphere that keeps our community coming back season after season. We are here to answer every question from "Where does Intro Racing meet" to "What lesson is best for my 5 year old son?" At the end of the day, we are there to give Mount Southington guests a safe and enjoyable experience wherever they may be on the mountain.

What You’ll Do Greet guests with a smile and a cheerful “good morning” and assist guests with check-in procedures

• Help guests navigate the different areas of the mountain including, but not limited to, customer service, rentals, lesson areas, race areas, lift line, ski trails, etc.

Proactively prevent issues by anticipating guest needs and providing timely assistance Serve as liaison between the main office and the guest Share your love and knowledge of the mountain, and mountain programs, with guests Offer a helping hand wherever it’s needed - including assisting with special events as needed

Encourage safe behavior on the mountain including, but not limited to, the gate, the lift line, or on the mountain Spread good vibes and help make every visit to Mount Southington memorable

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For A friendly, outgoing personality who enjoys talking and engaging with people Someone who finds joy in helping others and spreading positivity Eagerness to learn the mountain — all trails, lifts, features, buildings, programs, and its unique history Knowledge (or curiosity to learn!) about the area surrounding Mount Southington

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and school vacations from approximately 8:30am - 2:30pm (times may vary depending on staffing needs)
