Ride Attendant - Waterpark
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Ride Attendant – Waterpark. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining guests’ safety while they enjoy the water park.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll oversee the safety of guests in all pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and interactive features, in the indoor and outdoor water park areas.
$14/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and
courteous service always
- Learn and adhere to all in-house safety training such as Waterpark Procedures
- whistle codes, rotations, and emergency action plan; & Attraction
Operations for top of body slides, top of leopard’s lair, towel attendant, indoor/outdoor hot tub attendant, and dry play.
- Must be able to retain and apply relevant knowledge of equipment, polices,
and procedures of safety measures
- Must be effective in identifying and anticipating problems in stressful,
high-pressure situations, and taking actions towards preventing or communicating when applicable
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment that is
constantly changing based on room occupancy, group, and local business
What We’re Looking For
- Previous amusement and recreation attendant positions in a large waterpark,
recreational facility, or hotel/resort are helpful
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
- Must be able to frequently work in outdoor hot/humid/sunny weather conditions
as well as indoor warm/humid environments
