Compensation:
Amount: 16.50 USD Hourly Job Summary: Natick Boathouse, managed by Guest Services, is hiring summer camp counselors for our 2026 season. It's a weekly day camp that runs Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and serves children ages 8-15. Full-time, weekday availability is necessary for this position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Teach beginning and intermediate paddling and sailing
skills:
- Leading games and activities Leading/teaching groups of children Supervising of children ages 8 - 15 Supervision of on-the-water activities Working weekday hours.
Weekend hours might also be required Other duties as assigned by Camp Director and Site Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED Customer Service and Leadership
skills:
Intermediate knowledge of boating such as kayaking, sailing etc. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Red Cross CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard or Equivalent Preferred (Training available once hired.) 1 year teaching
experience:
with at least one type of boating discipline such as sailing, kayaking, SUP, or canoeing preferred. USSailing, ACA Certifications preferred Basic proficiency in speaking Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Hindi preferred PHYSICAL WORK
REQUIREMENTS:
The work required is moderately physically demanding and requires a medium level of physical fitness. You will be required to do the following: Standing, Lifting, Twisting, Kneeling, Kayaking, Swimming, and Squatting. It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
