    Job Description

    Compensation:

    Amount: Under the direction of the Dining Room Manager, assist in management of all aspects of Dining Room operations of busy, 200 seat, three meals per-day, restaurant. The majority of workday is spent on the dining room floor to supervise the operation of the restaurant.

    • Maintain a consistently high standard of guest service, sanitation, cleanliness, product presentation, and cost control.
    • Assist in supervision of dining room staff to ensure tasks are completed in a friendly, safe and efficient manner.

    Respond to and resolve food and guest issues as they arise. This position reports to the Dining Room Manager. Job

    • Assist in training, on-boarding, and scheduling staff including monitoring break and lunch schedules.
    • Communicate regularly and professionally with numerous people including the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Dining Room Manager, Chefs and Cooks to ensure safe, professional, and efficient food service.
    • Participate in management and safety meetings.

    Under guidance of Dining Room Manager, participate in and give working direction for pre and post season setup/teardown of the Dining Room. Supervise staff appropriately to enforce standards and minimize personnel conflicts.

    • Assist in maintaining department records such as schedules, payroll, deposits, tips, and daily cash reports.
    • Performs such other related duties as directed or required.

    SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE:

    REQUIREMENTS:

    INCLUDE High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred At least six months restaurant

    experience:

    strongly preferred. Food Safety certification; strong sanitation

    skills:
