Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Business Analytics & Information Management or related field plus 2 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Design and manage scalable data platforms and workflows using Snowflake, Airflow, Astronomer, and AWS, ensuring high availability, optimized performance, and seamless orchestration; Architect and implement secure, automated infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, GitHub Actions, HashiCorp Vault, DataLake and AWS IAM roles to enforce governance, access control, and authentication best practices; Develop and optimize ETL and real-time data processing pipelines using Airflow, Snowflake, Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark to support enterprise analytics, improve performance, and enhance data-driven decision-making; Lead cross-functional collaborations, mentorship, and data-driven experimentation by guiding interns and new team members, conducting A/B experiments, and partnering with external teams to establish scalable data solutions. 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $137,000.00 to $147,000.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
