    Job Summary Join Fun Spot America Theme Parks as a Food and Beverage Team Lead, playing a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. We're seeking a dedicated individual to support our food and beverage operations, fostering a culture of outstanding service and teamwork. As a Team Lead, you'll assist in daily operations, coordinate team activities, and uphold our commitment to providing safe, clean, and enjoyable dining experiences.

    Department: Food and Beverage

    • Reports to: Food and Beverage Department Manager

    Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00 Location: Orlando/Kissimmee/Atlanta Workers Comp Code: 9083 Travel: None Availability requirements: Full availability Work Status: Full-time over 30-hours per week

    Key Objectives Assign staff positions; uphold protocols for staff position coverage to ensure seamless operations.

    • Collaborate in shaping food and beverage operations through regular team meetings.
    • Maintain all food safety standards set forth by Fun Spot Theme Parks as well as state and local regulations.
    • Maintain open communication with the Food and Beverage Manager, assisting with procedures and reports.
    • Ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction in dining areas.

    Foster accountability, appearance standards, safety practices, and exceptional service within the Food and Beverage Team.

    • Participate in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance team performance.
    • Support performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
    • Deliver exceptional guest service and assist in training team members to do the same.
    • Assist in inventory management and ensure proper handling of food and beverage items.

    Meet and exceed sales targets and goals by upselling souvenir cups, snacks, and other food & beverage items. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to special requests and dietary needs.

    • Handle cash, and electronic funds, and process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with Fun Spot's quality standards.
    • Maintain all food safety standards set forth by Fun Spot Theme Parks as well as state and local regulations.
    • Handle and process multiple food orders efficiently.
    • Support the maintenance and operation of food service equipment and facilities.

    Responds to any guest concerns by problem solving and asking for leadership assistance when needed.

    • Ensure food areas open and close on time
    • Communicate any staffing concerns to the manager on duty.

    Record journals, coaching, and audits for Team members.

    • Communicates daily with Team members regarding SOPs, closing reports, and special projects.
    • Review timecards daily for your Team members
    • Resolve any challenges that could impact the guest and solve problems promptly to ensure first-class guest service.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food and beverage areas.
    • Follow all safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Maintain a professional image at all times.

    Attend weekly Leadership & Motivation meetings Complete any other duties to assist with the operation of the park.

    Providing Operational Support:

    • Help coordinate daily activities and goals to ensure operational efficiency.

    Training Support:

    • Assist in identifying learning needs and developing training programs for team growth.

    Guest Service Support:

    Represent Fun Spot with enthusiasm and provide excellent service to our guests.

    Resource Management Assistance:

    • Assist in inventory management and ensure proper handling of food and beverage items.

    Facility Maintenance Support:

    • Help maintain cleanliness and functionality of dining areas and equipment.

    Quality Control Assistance:

    • Support adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.

    Record-Keeping Assistance:

    • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports as required.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    Ability to complete and pass the State Food Safety Certification exam. Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Park’s drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use. Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.

    Ability to complete and pass the State Food Safety Certification exam Ability to pass cash handler certification Ability to utilize various computer software’s including Microsoft Office

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Leadership experience preferred.

    Excellent guest service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Self-motivated Previous experience in amusement parks is preferred but not required. Time management

    • Organized

    Physical Requirements Ability to move around and stand for long periods of time Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. Visual Acuity Tolerance of Temperature Fluctuations
