Eastern National (EN), a not-for-profit partner of the National Park Service (NPS), is seeking a full-time Training Manager to oversee training & development for the organization and lead efforts to boost skills and performance and address skill gaps.
The Training Manager will assess employee skills and performance against established standards, identify internal and external trends that impact growth and help establish the Learning Strategy for the organization. The Training Manager oversees the administration of the learning management system (LMS) and develops, delivers and coordinates training for all team members in accordance with the established annual training plan.
The Training Manager supervises the development and work of the Training Specialist.
This position can be remote if needed.

Experience, Abilities and Knowledge:
- Minimum of three years’ managing training programs in a Learning Management System (LMS) preferably using Cornerstone. Prior experience managing a small team a plus.
- Experience managing training plans, evaluating and developing training courses and associated materials and delivering high-quality training that maximizes the learner experience.
- Able to conduct analysis and identify training needs and skills gaps, then develop and recommend solutions to address needs and improve workforce skills.
- Exceptional public speaking and communication skills.
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team, adjust priorities quickly and adapt to frequent changes to workload.
- Computer proficiency required with applied understanding of Microsoft Software and LMS products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and motivate peers through shared Mission and goals.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel using multiple modes of transportation (air, train, car, etc.) as needed.
Minimum Educational/ Certification Requirements:
Associate’s and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Train the Trainer Certificate or other training certification preferred.
Prior experience or certification with Learning Management Systems (LMS) required.
