Engineering a world of possibilities POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER POSITION THE
OPPORTUNITY:
Professor Amadeu Sum leads the Phases to Flow Laboratory in the Chemical & Biological Engineering Department at the Colorado School of Mines and is seeking a post-doctoral researchfellow to work on industry sponsored projects related to gas hydrates and flow assurance. The successful candidate is expected to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with other members of the group and effectively interface with external partners.
This position has a start date no later than January 2026 for a period of one year with possible renewal for one additional year.
PRIMARY:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct experimental research using high pressure equipment for the characterization of gas hydrates formation and transportability.
Work on design and construction of custom equipment for high pressure measurements. Write reports and peer-review publications.
- Prepare and present update material related to research progress.
Serve as mentor to graduate and undergraduate students.
MINIMUM:
QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD. In Chemical Engineering or related field. All PhD

Experience:
