Join our Network & Security Infrastructure team as a Network Security Specialist, supporting global offices and data centers to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across our footprint.
You’ll triage requests from both the network and security queues, perform upgrades and troubleshooting, and help drive the performance and availability of critical infrastructure. We’re a high‑impact, fast‑moving group that powers Cboe’s cutting‑edge trading technology and global operations—your work helps keep connectivity resilient where it matters most.
This is a flexible hybrid role - working from our Chicago, IL or Overland Park, KS office. This role follows a 4×10 schedule with a required Saturday.
Your responsibilities:
will be: Monitor and resolve tickets from both the network and security queues.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Perform software and code upgrades on network and firewall devices.
- Review and maintain firewall policies and rulesets.
Replace and validate network and firewall hardware as needed.
- Assist with maintaining high availability across all critical systems.
The ideal candidate will have: 1–2 years of
experience:
in networking or network operations/support. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service
skills:
Network support
experience:
with routing, switching, and wireless technologies required. Familiarity with firewall administration. Working knowledge of ACLs and general network troubleshooting. Scripting
experience:
(Python) is a plus. Certifications such as CCNA (strong plus), Network+, Security+, or PCCET is a plus.
