Camp Counselor - Day Camps

Day Camp - Camp Counselor 2026 The Day Camp Counselor is a seasonal position that will be working with campers that range from 5 to 13 years of age. The counselor must be enthusiastic, caring, and committed to providing an outstanding experience for the campers. They will be responsible for leading daily activities, maintaining good communication with parents and campers, supervision and leadership of their camp group and planning camp activities. The Day Camp program is designed to provide full-day recreational care to its participants with an emphasis on having fun through engaging activities in a positive, safe and structured environment. The Day Camp Counselor position is for the following camps: Kinder Camp, Adventure, Fun & Games, and Grove.

Qualifications:

The Camp Counselor position is open to all qualified applicants 16 years of age (as of June 1, 2026) and older. Experience working with children preferred. Must feel comfortable leading group activities with children grades K-8.

Hours:

The program runs approximately 8 am - 4 pm (depending upon camp assignment), Monday - Friday, from June to August 2026. Exact dates will be specificized in the following weeks. No absences are granted for this 7 week program. Camp training is mandatory and will begin as early as June 2nd, 2026. Salary

$15 - $18, depending on experience
