Overnight Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Management team, the Overnight Supervisor provides daily direction to the Outfitters on the overnight shift within the retail store, to include: sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management and price change execution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Delegates tasks and work assignments to team members by giving clear and concise direction and follow up to ensure proper execution.

• Ensures adherence of all standard operating procedures and processes by team members, following up to provide training and guidance when needed.
• Maintains visual presentation standards including in-store signage, proper execution of merchandise directives and planograms, merchandise recovering/front facing and general daily recovery ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping

experience:

for all customers.

• Ensures nightly replenishment of sales floor from backstock inventory, as well as new replenishment from the Distribution Centers and direct vendor deliveries.
• Supports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, display integrities, etc. during off peak business overnight
• Supports the Management team with coordination of all “Special Events”; maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity; determining proper assortments; accuracy of inventory; proper display, tagging, signing and pricing of all advertised items.
• Supports the Management team in carrying out Supervisory

responsibilities:

in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning and directing work, measuring and evaluating performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems, maintaining a positive, harassment free working environment for all associates.

• Assists the Management team and Human Resources Representative to staff the department with “service” oriented associates; participates in interviewing and makes recommendations for selection; coordinates training; consults with the Management team and gives input on preparation of performance appraisals; prepares weekly work schedules; coaches and motivates associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment.
• Ensures all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with all state and local regulations.
