Lead Warehouse Associate

1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Distribution Outfitter trains maintains activities of department personnel by scheduling and assigning workflow checking work for accuracy, analyze and resolving work problems. They will train associates, assign duties, and monitor activity. This role will maintains an open line of communication with leadership.

The Outfitter will be cross trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Repetitively lifting up to 50 lbs Ensure associates are working in a safe manner at all times.

• Ensure Housekeeping assignments are completed daily and associates maintain a clean work area throughout their day.
• Ensure all associates are fully trained on procedures and equipment and have the supplies needed to effectively complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure department processes and procedures are followed while adjusting labor needs to appropriately address work volumes and monitor consistent flow.
• Ensure associates are leaving and returning from breaks and lunch in a timely manner.

Takes daily attendance as outfitters clock in and report absenteeism to Supervisor. Actively participates in daily department start up meetings. In the event of supervisor’s absence, conduct start up meeting, covering daily priorities & goals, company updates, perform stretching exercises and conclude meeting with a focus on safety.

Attends all Bass Pro provided management training classes to expand on job knowledge and growth potential.
