Job Summary:
The Ski Patrol administers first aid to injured patrons and evacuates victims from the ski hill. They insure the overall safety of the patrons. This is an at-will position.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Gain knowledge and understanding of Park District policies and procedures and see that they are adhered to at all times. Administers first aid to all injured patrons on the ski & tubing hills.
- Responsible for safe evacuation procedures during emergencies and transporting injured skiers.
May be required to ski every run, to make sure that all runs are safe for patrons.
- Responsible for the customers safety while riding the lifts, tows and tube hill.
Observe and follow all Park District safety policies and regulations. The safety of staff and participants is a continuing responsibility of all employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Hours and Pay:
This is a part-time, hourly position. Season runs from mid-November through the beginning of March, weather permitting. Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Anticipated hiring range is between $15.00 - $16.00.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent. Must be proficient in Skiing or Snowboarding. Requires strong people and customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public. Must be CPR and first aid certified or able to attain certification.
