General Summer Camp Counselor (All Camps)

The Department of Parks & Recreation is seeking temporary Summer Camp Counselor I’s and II’s, to support a variety of summer camp programs for youth ages 3-17. Adapted Camps support campers ages 5-21. Camper ages we support vary by each camp (see information below). Staff must commit to our general core camp dates of June 22 - August 14. Please note the actual camp dates of operations vary depending on the camps (see information below). Additional weeks of camp, August 17 – August 28, may also be available (Therapeutic Recreation only). Training will begin in mid to late May through June, which includes virtual online courses, in-person trainings during weekday evenings and a few Saturdays. Several positions are available, and hours vary.
